Boneless pork chops are frequently on sale, and when they are, I stock up and put in the freezer. It's so simple to plan meals around pork. It's not quite grilling time yet this year, so into the oven to bake and then a little brushing to BBQ sauce brings the flavor to the table.
1 - 2 pounds boneless pork chops
Granulated Garlic
Onion Powder
Kosher Salt
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
your favorite BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Spray a rimmed baking sheet with non-stick spray. Place pork chops on the baking sheet and lightly season with garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Place in the oven for 20 minutes and then remove and, using tongs, turn the chops over and season the other side.
Return to oven for another 10 minutes or so, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees F.
Lightly brush BBQ sauce on both sides of the pork chops and return oven for 5 minutes or so, just long enough for the sauce to glaze onto the chops.
