I decided to use the air fryer to help with our Saturday morning breakfast. See the breakfast meat on the left side of the plate? That is salt pork. And it cooked up perfectly in the air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. for about 5 minutes. Place the salt pork slices on the racks allowing space between the slices so that the air has room to circulate. Let cook for 6 - 8 minutes. Salt pork, by the nature of its processing, will be salty. Rinse the slices and pat dry before placing into the air fryer. Depending on how thick the salt pork is sliced, you may need to increase the cooking time.
I used small "new potatoes" sliced 1/4" thick. Spray the air fryer racks with olive oil spray. Place the sliced potatoes in a single layer (allow room for the air to circulate) and spray with olive oil spray. Lightly sprinkle with salt and Everything Bagel seasoning.
Place into the air fryer that has preheated to 400 degrees F. Let the potatoes cook for 5 - 7 minutes until the potatoes are browned and tender. Serve immediately.
I completed our breakfast plates with over easy fried eggs, Grands biscuits, and fresh strawberries.
