Air Fryer Breakfast

I recently received a new air fryer from Taotronics to try out and share the results with all of you. Yes, you can cook your entire breakfast with the air fryer.

The biscuits and potato wedges were cooked from their frozen state.  The sausage patties were cooked from fresh, not frozen, sausage patties.  The eggs were cooked in a small bowl.  The secret to properly cooking eggs in the air fryer is to whisk with a fork for at least a minute or 90 seconds.  The more air that is incorporated into the eggs, the fluffier they will be!

I preheated the oven for a few minutes and set the temperature to 400 degrees F.  The potatoes and sausages cooked for 14 minutes, flipping them over halfway through the cooking time.  The potatoes should be golden brown and crunchy when finished cooking.  The internal temperature of the sausages should be 165 degrees F.  The biscuits cooked for about 8 minutes at 400 degrees F.  When they are golden brown, they are ready to eat!

To prepare the eggs for the air fryer, break 3-4 eggs into a ovenproof bowl.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  If you'd like to add cheese, grate your own.  The pre-shredded kind has cellulose to keep it from sticking together in the bag.  If you'd like to add a tablespoon of chopped parsley, chives, or oregano, add those.  Now is the time for whisking.  Using a fork, whisk the eggs for at least one minute.

In a small baking dish that will fit the air fryer, spread 1 T. of butter on the bottom of the dish.  Pour in the eggs and cook at 350 degrees F. for 10 - 12 minutes, stopping the fryer and stirring the eggs halfway through.

Breakfast is served!
