Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Oh, two of my most favorite things combined in one dish!  Lemons and Shrimp!  I loved this version over the normal "peel and eat" shrimp variety.  One baking dish and 15 minutes later and you can be enjoying this as well.  It makes a lovely presentation.

1 lb. large Gulf shrimp, peeled and deveined (leave the tails on)
3/4 stick butter
2 oz. olive oil
1/2 t. granulated garlic
2 large lemons thinly sliced
1 packet dry Italian Salad Dressing

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Add the butter, olive oil and garlic to a 13 x 9 baking dish and put into oven for butter to melt while oven preheats.  When butter is melted, remove dish from oven and gently stir to combine.

Add a layer of lemon slices, overlapping if you need to so they'll all fit. Place shrimp over lemon slices and sprinkle the seasoning packet over shrimp.

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through.  Stir to combine with the lemons and butter/olive oil.  Serve with lots of bread!
