Southern Comfort Food - Lolly Style

February was a very trying month for our family.  There were deaths of three very close family members and we've been running on pretty much automatic for the past several weeks.  Yesterday I asked Sweet Harold what he wanted for supper and he started naming off his favorite foods.  I was more than willing to spend the day in the kitchen cooking his comfort food meal.  There will be recipes of individual items posted in the days ahead, but for now, I thought I'd post of picture of my version of love on a plate.

From top center: Field peas over crumbled cornbread, braised kale, braised pork, squash casserole, creamed corn, butterbeans over crumbled cornbread, fried okra and creamed potatoes.
