Your Summertime Thursdays are about to take on an entirely new delicious
 meaning.  Tapas Thursdays will premiere this week.  I am very excited 
to share some "small plate" recipes from these two wonderful cookbooks 
this summer.  
Tapas are simply a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, 
in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) 
or hot, sweet or savory. In select bars in Spain, tapas have evolved 
into an entire, and sometimes sophisticated, cuisine.  I hope y'all 
enjoy!
