Another true Southern Supper

I love to cook Italian food.  I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with different cuisines that are unfamiliar to me.  But last week, when I sat down to this plate, I realized how eternally grateful that I am a Southerner and learned from childhood how to put this type of food on a plate.  And yes, I'll even go so far as to say I'd be proud to serve this plate to everyone from Queen Elizabeth to the President to Putin himself.  This food, dear blog follower/reader, is a sample of Southern Heaven.

Corn on the cob
Cornbread cooked in an iron skillet
Fried Green Tomatoes
New potatoes recently dug from the garden
Fried okra and yellow squash
