Crock Pot BBQ Ribs

2 lbs. baby back ribs, trimmed
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 T. salt
1 T. granulated garlic
1 T. powdered onion
1 T. smoked paprika
1 t. freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup water
your favorite BBQ sauce

Combine all the rub ingredients together in a small bowl. Liberally apply the seasoning blend to the ribs.  

Pour water into the crock pot and layer the ribs into the crock pot. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6 - 8 hours. During the last hour of cooking time pour on BBQ sauce, swapping ribs from bottom to top half way through cooking time.

And here they are after the hour of sauce caramelizing.
