Most of us have eaten our weight in sausage balls.  These little bites of goodness are made slightly differently than your run of the mill recipe.  I doubled the amount I usually make and the result was 123 walnut sized sausage balls.  Your mileage may vary.  The recipe easily halves.  If you have a stand mixer with a dough hook, USE IT!  It makes a breeze of combining the ingredients.
2 lbs. breakfast sausage (hot, medium or mild)
4 cups baking mix (Bisquick, etc.)
4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 t. granulated garlic
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients in a LARGE bowl or in the bowl of a standing mixer.  When all the ingredients are thoroughly combined, begin to roll into walnut sized balls and place on grease baking sheets.
Bake 15 - 17 minutes or until golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
