Southern Supper


After being on the road to the Great North week before last, and getting back into the routine of work this week, it was time to get back into MY kitchen.  

Last night I knew I wanted fried boneless pork chops.  I had new potatoes from the garden.  I cooked a pot of pinto beans all day with a nice cube of salt pork.  And last, but not least, how about a cast iron skillet filled with fried okra?
