Dining Out - Kentucky - My Guadalajara

My Guadalajara was our choice for dinner in Frankfort, Kentucky offering a wide variety of Mexican dishes and drinks.  Happy Hour offerings included a 16 oz. margarita for $2.99.  Chips were hot and plentiful and the salsa was filled with cilantro and fresh onion.

Harold selected his usual menu item at ANY Mexican restauant: a chicken chimichanga. Served with refried beans topped with cheese, freshly made guacamole, sour cream and a nice portion size of pico de gallo.

I chose the enchilada platter with a beef enchilada with red sauce, a chicken enchilada with white sauce and a cheese enchilada with chili sauce.  I requested a side of refried beans which I topped with a few spoonfuls of the salsa.

Everything was served tasty and hot. If you expect typical Americanized Mexican food, you won't be disappoint.  We enjoyed our dinner, the courteous service, and clean surroundings.
