This is the exact menu that Sweet Harold requested for his Father's Day meal. Instead of large racks of ribs, he chose meaty individually cut country-style ribs. I was more than happy to grill these for him.
I removed the package of ribs from the refrigerator about 1/2 hour before grilling. I spread them out on a sheet pan and seasoned them with equal parts of sea salt, ground black pepper, granulated garlic, and onion powder.
Preheat the gas grill to a temp of 450 degrees. Place the ribs on the grill and reduce heat to keep a constant temperature of 350-375 degrees. Let ribs grill until you have a nice grill mark and, using tongs, turn each rib a quarter turn.
When the ribs are well seared, using tongs, flip them over and repeat the process.
When the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees, lower the heat to about 300 degrees and you can begin to brush on your favorite sauce.
I served the ribs with grillin' beans and grilled corn on the cob. Sweet Harold thoroughly enjoyed his Father's Day Meal!
