Around Lolly's Sideboard: Mardi Gras 2021

I always love decorating for Mardi Gras. The trio of colors that represent Mardi Gras are Purple, Green, and Yellow. In 1892, the Rex Krewe gave meaning to the colors so that Purple represents Justice, Green represents Faith and Gold represents Power.

Once again, Fiestaware to the rescue! The colors mix and match perfectly.  I paired the corresponding hurricane glasses alongside.

A Mardi Gras tree with colorful masks and fleur de lis finials are the ideal top-shelf decorations.

I've had these figurines for years.  They always make an appearance during Mardi Gras Season. Of course, beads and masks are essential!

Did you spy the crawfish hiding in plain sight?

Happy Mardi Gras!
