We had friends over last weekend to mark the official start of BBQ season! I wanted to have a informal picnic feel for our table setting.
How better to start with a red and white checkered tablecloth and matching napkins?
Of course, the rattan chargers, wooden napkin rings, and flatware with wood grain handles all worked together to enhance that picnic vibe.
White Fiestaware was the perfect choice for the plates. And, of course, the copper mug is waiting to be filled with a Kentucky Mule!
This little guy has quite the family history!

I painted this little piggy in junior high school art class to give to my older sister who loved pigs! She passed away in 1995 at age 42. Recently, while going through some of her things, I found this little pig. I will keep him always and doesn't he go perfectly with the table setting?
