It's time to celebrate St. Patrick! I decided to go with a little more of a pub theme this year instead of the usual Fiestaware Shamrock Green.
I purchase this rustic style set of dinnerware from Chef's Catalog years ago. Each piece has a slight variation in shape and size. There's also bowls and mugs, but I didn't use them for this sideboard.
Of course, I had to showcase some of my favorite Irish cookbooks! The framed resin map of Ireland was purchased in Belfast.
This lovely antique pitcher is uranium glass. The glasses are Fiestaware and are banded in shamrock green.
This little ceramic Irish cottage is actually a peat burner. There is a small metal holder inside where you can place actual pieces of peat. As it burns, the smoke comes up through the chimney!
This little guy is "Larry the Leprechaun" and is vintage from the 1960s. I bought him at St. George's Market in Belfast. He does look mischievous, doesn't he?
Sweet Harold does love some Guinness!
I found the Bushmill's vintage pitcher in an antique store in Belfast. The Irish Coffee cup was a take away from a pub in Belfast.
The Old Bushmills Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery in Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, established in 1784.
The Tullamore Dew jug was a gift from my son who found it in yet another another antique store in Belfast. Tullamore, a small town with a big reputation in Irish whiskey is home to a legendary whiskey with over 192 years of history.
This Irish Coin decanter was produced in 1979 through J.P. VanWinkle & Sons showcasing Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Unfortunately, it's missing it's stopper.
Always good to change up things.
