Roasted Asparagus with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar


Spring is here or will be very soon!  Asparagus is my favorite Spring time veggie.  Quickly roasted and drizzled with olive oil and balsamic makes a perfect side item for most any menu.

1 pound asparagus spears, ends trimmed
olive oil
sea salt
black pepper
balsamic vinegar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Place asparagus on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
Roast in oven for 15 - 18 minutes and remove from oven.  Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.
