Dining Out - Gulf Coast - Uncle Ernie's

This beautiful restaurant is located right on History St. Andrew's Bay in Panama City, Florida.  Follow this link to their webpage http://uncleerniesbayfrontgrill.com/

We were out exploring and enjoyed walking around marina and checking out the boats docked there.  Here's a sampling of what we saw.

Please take the time to read the history behind the Governor Stone here.

We weren't quite ready for dinner but decided to go into Uncle Ernie's for a drink and a nibble.

Sweet Harold chose a Dirty Martini.

I chose the Love Potion Martini....Van Gogh Blueberry and Acai Vodka, Pomegranate Juice and a splash of champagne with a sugared rim.  I loved it!

Next up:  Crab Cakes with remoulade sauce.   LOTS of crab and very little breading.  Exactly how a crab cake should be.  The sauce had just the right amount of heat.  I could have eaten both.  Or probably three.

Uncle Ernie's is well worth the drive across the Hathaway Bridge to enjoy wonderful food in a historic home on St. Andrew's Bay.
