Dining Out - Gulf Coast - Capt. Anderson's

We chose Capt. Anderson's for dinner on Wednesday night. It's a tradition for many visitors to the Gulf Coast to dine at this legendary restaurant.  Walking through the restaurant to our table felt like walking through a friend's home to their dining room.  Many diners come early to watch the fishing boats unload as they come in from a day's fishing.

 I started with a hurricane!

My side salad with blue cheese dressing.

Sweet Harold's Greek Salad.

Let's all say it together:  Harold will 99% of the time order grouper if it's on the menu!  Tonight was no exception.

No fried grouper this time.  He chose the traditional Greek style open hearth charcoal grilled version.  Here's the description:  Fillet of Grouper Imperial with fresh lump blue crab meat served with lemon butter, olive oil, parsley and chopped spring onions.

His side baked potato......enough sour cream you think?

I decided on baked oysters with Parmesan.  Little bites of goodness here!

If you ever find yourself in Panama City Beach, Florida, do yourself a favor and enjoy a delicious meal and a wonderful evening at Capt. Anderson's.  Begin your own tradition of dining and watching the boats unload!
