Dining Out - Michigan - Webber's Waterfront Restaurant, Erie, Michigan

We literally didn't realize when we crossed from Ohio into Michigan while driving to this restaurant. What a gorgeous picturesque site for a restaurant! Please take time to go their website http://www.webbersrestaurant.samsbiz.com/ and read the history of this amazing restaurant.

Here's a few views from our table in the dining room.

We began with a nice bread basket which was delivered to the table almost as soon as we were seated.

Of course, with this being our first visit to Michigan, we were going to try some of the fish selections which were new to us.

I chose the yellow lake Perch Fillets ($20.00) with a baked potato and pickled beets as my side items.  The fish is very lightly breaded and flash fried.  The beets were the perfect combination of sweet and tart, just how I love them.

Harold chose the Walleye Fillet ($23.00) with a baked potato and cole slaw.  It was also lightly breaded and flash fried.  I was in heaven with my perch selection and then I tasted a bite of his Walleye.  Absolutely delicious.  And look at the size of the portion!
