Grilling season continues in full force here at Chez Lolly. Today's late lunch featured a pork tenderloin cooked on the gas grill and then glazed with this new (to me) product. It carries some heat, but used as a lightly applied glaze during the last 15 minutes or so of grilling, it was perfect.
Remember to let the pork rest for 5 or 10 minutes before slicing.
1 (24 oz.) pork tenderloin
2 - 3 T. Kinder's Japanese BBQ seasoning
2 - 3 T. Soy Vay Spicy 'n Sweet Chili Heat Marinade & Dip
Preheat gas grill on high to be able to sear the pork tenderloin.
Season the pork tenderloin on all sides with the Kinder's Japanese BBQ seasoning. Place the tenderloin on the grill grates and sear on all sides.
Lower the heat to medium and allow the pork to cook until it reaches a temperature of 135 degrees F. At this point, begin to brush the pork with the sauce and let it begin to glaze.
Lower the heat to low and continue brushing on the glaze and rotating the pork from side to side until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
Remove from the grill and lightly tent with foil for 5 - 10 minutes to allow the tenderloin to rest.
Slice and serve with additional sauce on the side if desired.
