Dining Out Southeast: Clover on Court (Christmas Brunch)

 

This morning we enjoyed a lovely brunch at Clover on Court f/k/a Harp and Clover.

I think we tried everything but the waffles!  I simply forgot to go back to get one.  😢

We each started with a Bloody Mary.  Nice and bold flavor with just a hint of heat.  

Also, there was Christmas punch available.

Here's an overview of the breakfast items.

Here's a picture of my plate.  The biscuits were huge, but very light and fluffy.

I loved the grits, the bacon was chewy (just like I love it!!), the potatoes were a nice version of hash brown casserole, and I really enjoyed the ham and sausage (which is hidden under my pile of bacon.  Yes, I also had a piece of the pickle fried chicken.  You could detect the subtle flavor of the dill pickle brine.  It may have been my favorite item of the brunch.

The salad bar was nicely presented with a variety of options.  The prime rib was perfectly cooked and served with jus and horseradish sauce.  

Even Santa showed up!
