Sweet Harold told me mid-week that he was craving fish tacos. Luckily, we had grouper in the freezer from our last trip to the Gulf Coast. It didn't take the fish long to thaw and I made these quick and easy grilled grouper tacos for our dinner last night.
This package of grouper weighed in at a little over a pound. There were a few pieces that had separated during the freezing/thawing process so that's the smaller bits you'll see in the following pictures.
I liberally seasoned with Kinder's "Seafood Blend."
I let the grill heat up and then sprayed the pan with olive oil spray. I placed the pan directly on the grill grates for a few minutes to get hot and then added the grouper pieces to the pan. I immediately heard a nice sizzle so I knew I was right on track.
I let the fish cook for 2 - 3 minutes and then flipped them over to continue cooking.
I gently removed the fish from the grill pan and placed on a plate. Then I used a fork to break the grouper into bite-sized pieces.
Looks good. I want to look for that seafood seasoning. I'll try it on our bass that we catch.
